Meet Sylvie
Sylvie, has been in love with fashion and clothing from a very young age. She grew up in the North of Belgium, as the eldest of three girls. She played tennis and modelled, before studying Economics at the University of Ghent.
Finishing her degree with a thesis on the Belgian Textile Industry, she decided that she would explore the world of fashion, and has been working with clothing ever since.
Leading a busy life, she was desperately looking for some easy and soft clothing in which she could lounge and relax wherever she was...She realized there was no such thing, so pregnant with her first baby girl, she decided to give her business idea a chance. By 2005 Lounge Lover was born.
Sylvie is based in London and lives with her husband and two daughters.
